Health, Safety and Environmental Alert - On Friday 14th October 2022, a fatal incident occurred on a wind farm in Europe. Unfortunatley a contractor was fataly injured during lifting operations using the turbines internal crain chain hoist assembly.
The incident is still under investigation by the OEM concerned and all the causes of the incident are still to be established but some early indications have been released through a stop and return to work order to their client’s.
